Meet Dr. Julie Hauser

Julie A. Hauser, O.D., received her Doctor of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She also earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Slippery Rock University in 1982.

After completing her optometry degree, Dr. Hauser pursued additional training through a residency in Pediatric Optometry and Vision Therapy at The Eye Institute in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Hauser specializes in Pediatric Optometry and binocular vision, dedicating her career to helping patients see clearly and comfortably to enhance their quality of life.

Originally from Erie, Pennsylvania, Dr. Hauser’s background includes experience as an emergency room nurse in Erie and at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, hiking, gardening, and volunteering at animal rescue shelters, reflecting her commitment to both her profession and her community.
